To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed, dynamic and flexible powder coater (m/f/d) for our Hamburg location on a full-time basis.
Area of responsibility:
- order picking
- Cleaning and degreasing of workpieces
- Surface preparation: sanding, filling, sealing
- Professional powder coating of small and large components
- Open management
- Control of layer thickness, color tone, surface quality and flow
- Correction of coating defects (e.g., faulty coatings)
- Conducting quality checks including documentation and test reports
- Cleaning, maintenance and care of the facilities and equipment
- Coordination of work processes with radiation, logistics and quality assurance
What we expect from you:
- Craftsmanship and a precise and careful working method
- Experience in powder coating or surface coating is an advantage.
- Knowledge of powder coatings, materials and coating processes
- Safe handling of surface coating machines and equipment
- Understanding of quality standards and measurement methods (e.g., coating thickness measurement)
- Class B driving license is an advantage
- Resilience, teamwork skills and a structured work approach
- Practical experience or technical/craft training is an advantage.
- Reliability and willingness to learn
- Dedicated, independent and conscientious work, as well as a self-confident demeanor
- Commitment, teamwork, resilience and intercultural competence
