The company was founded in Hamburg in 1949 by Robert Krebs. Since then, Robert Krebs KG has specialised in corrosion protection in all industrial sectors. In order to improve the service, the company was expanded in 1979 with the addition of Walter Krebs GmbH, and with Krebs Industrie Service GmbH in 1980. After the German Reunification, Robert Krebs KG expanded: It was joined by Rostocker Korrosionsschutz GmbH, Wismarer Korrosionsschutz GmbH and Krebs Beschichtungssysteme GmbH joined, among others. Over the years, Lubminer Korrosionsschutz GmbH, Förde Korrosionsschutz GmbH, Red Tec and other companies joined, bringing new customers with them.
This was followed in 2015 by a consolidation of the group of companies in order to provide greater transparency for customers and to simplify internal processes. Today, Robert Krebs GmbH and Krebs Korrosionsschutz GmbH offer a comprehensive range of modern services.
The company has now been managed by the Krebs family for generations. Our customers' confidence in the high-quality and environmentally conscious services provided by our group of companies, which has grown over 70 years, brings pride to the family.
